quality; for example, Fromme’s paper on
computer games as a part of children’s
culture (Fromme 2003). The archives of the
mailing forums populated by postings from
the key researchers in the field, such as
the GamesNetwork (GamesNetwork) list,
provide pointers to where contemporary
thought, debate and research are heading.
The problem, especially to researchers
used to traditional information-seeking
procedures, is of tracking down and
validating such information.
