Guidelines for submitting projects to our Showcase

We're pleased to feature other people's projects in our Showcase, if they are relevant to our field, appropriate to our audience and demonstrate sufficiently innovative practice.

If you're interested in submitting a project, please do the following:

Before sending full details e-mail webmaster@futurelab.org.uk with a summary of what your project is about, and an idea of how it has been/is being used. If it's accepted you'll be asked to submit full details to us, with the following guidelines:

  • length - we usually ask for a 500 to 1,000-word article describing the project, its objectives and examples of use
  • links - please list any links at the end of the article, rather than including them in the body text
  • contact details - if you're happy for people to contact you after reading your article, let us know and we'll include any details (eg e-mail address, website address) at the bottom (we can also include small logos)
  • images - please send accompanying images in jpg or gif format if possible - we need at least three, preferably more
  • rich media - we are happy to include video or audio files, but if they are large it's helpful if you can send us two versions - one for modem users and one for broadband
  • editing - we reserve the right to edit material.
We look forward to hearing from you.
